Once the connection is configured, the plugin works automatically in the background.

New and updated bookings

When a booking is created or updated in Easy Booking, the plugin synchronises the corresponding event with the connected Google Calendar.

You can therefore use Google Calendar as usual to view your upcoming bookings alongside your other appointments.

Check the connection

From time to time, check the Google Calendar settings in WordPress to make sure the account is still connected.

If the connection has expired or has been revoked, reconnect the Google account from the plugin settings page.

Synchronisation direction

Synchronisation works in one direction only: from Easy Booking to Google Calendar.

When a booking is created or updated in Easy Booking, the plugin creates or updates the corresponding event in the selected Google Calendar. Changes made directly in Google Calendar are not imported into Easy Booking.

For this reason, always manage your booking details from Easy Booking.

Synchronisation time

The calendar is not necessarily updated instantly. After creating, editing, or deleting a booking, allow a few minutes for the change to appear in Google Calendar.

Resynchronise Google Calendar

If a calendar event is missing or appears outdated, you can manually start a new synchronisation.

  1. In WordPress, go to Easy BookingTools.
  2. Find Resynchronize Google Calendar.
  3. Start the resynchronisation.

The plugin will update the Google Calendar with the current Easy Booking bookings. Allow a few minutes for the process to complete.

When changing plugin settings

When you save changes to the Google Calendar plugin settings, the selected calendar is automatically resynchronised.

Past events are not resynchronised. Only current and future bookings are updated in Google Calendar.

Disconnecting a calendar

To stop using Google Calendar synchronisation:

  1. Open the Google Calendar settings in WordPress.
  2. Disconnect the Google account or remove the selected calendar.
  3. Save the settings.

You can also revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions.
