Requirements

Before installing and connecting the plugin, make sure the following requirements are met.

  • Easy Booking (at least 3.4.5) installed and activated.
  • An active Google account with access to the Google Calendar(s) you want to connect.

You should also decide which Google Calendar(s) will be used before starting the connection process.

We recommend creating a dedicated calendar for your bookings, especially if you use your personal Google Calendar for other events.

Important

Google Calendar synchronization relies on Google’s services and API. Although bookings are synchronized automatically, temporary connection issues, API errors or changes made by Google may occasionally prevent an event from being created, updated or removed as expected.

Your WordPress administration remains the authoritative source for all booking information. Always refer to Easy Booking → Reports and the corresponding WooCommerce order when checking booking dates, status or customer details. Google Calendar should be used as a convenient secondary view, not as the sole record of your bookings.

Your data and privacy

Connecting Google Calendar does not give Easy Booking, or the plugin developer, access to your Google account or calendar.

The connection is made directly between your WordPress website and Google through Google’s secure OAuth authorisation process:

  • your Google password is never shared with Easy Booking or entered in WordPress;
  • Easy Booking does not operate a central service that receives or stores your Google Calendar data;
  • the plugin only accesses the calendar data for which you explicitly grant permission, in order to provide the selected synchronisation features;
  • the connection credentials are used by your own WordPress website.

You remain in control at all times. You can revoke the plugin’s access from your Google Account permissions or disconnect the calendar from WordPress.
